Transformative Breathwork Ceremonies

What do I need to take part in a transformative breathwork session?

Yay, as the whole thing mainly requires you and your breath, you don't need much at all. Ideally, you should have enough time for yourself before and especially after the session. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes that don't restrict you and in which you feel completely at ease.

Come with an open mind and give your inner critical voice a break. Transformative breathwork can feel a little crazy. You may even feel a bit daft at first. At the same time, it is scientifically explainable what we do and why it works. The invitation is: give your head a break and allow your body to gently sort itself out and release.

What to expect from Transformative Breathwork

A transformative Breathwork session with me lasts about 2 hours. After a short arrival and welcome, I explain some basics and interesting facts about the process. Afterwards you can ask me questions and after a short break we start with a 45-60 minute breathing journey.

You breathe lying on your back or stomach with your eyes closed. If you work onlline with me, get yourself a mat (the softer the better) with pillows and blankets for support. I recommend to not breath in your bed, that’s should stay your night-rest place. I will guide the connected breath and support you to get into that state where the breath is absolutely in flow. There will be music playing which will also help you to find the connected breath. If you succeed (and it often takes a while) it feels as if your body takes over this active breathing completely. You are no longer breathing, your body is breathing you.

Finally, I will guide you through a regulating breathing technique. So that you can come back relaxed. There will be time and space for a voluntary sharing circle and I will also give you some tips on how you can organise the follow-up to the Breathwork session.
